Active Travel - Teithio Llesol
This year we have been selected to be part of
Cardiff's Active Travel Programme,
and Sustrans' Active Journeys Programme.
In the Spring Term Foundation Phase came back to school, and we celebrated 'Welsh Week' by having a Welsh themed scavenger hunt on scooters. We decorated our scooters in 'Welsh' colours and brought them to school.
In the Summer term we improved our scooter skills and took part in the Big Pedal,
and we came 15th in Wales.
Hamish from Sustrans came to school to deliver scooter skills sessions with Years 1 and 2.
