Hello 5G,

I am looking forward to seeing you in school on Tuesday 16th March 2021 at 12pm - 3pm ! 

I am adding the home learning grid for Monday and Tuesday because from Wednesday  we will  be back in all day! 


I have added the information letter from this website to the Home Learning Grid in Hwb too.

You have been working so well during lockdown. I am very proud that you are doing your home learning daily. You are amazing learners.


I have really enjoyed seeing all of your lovely faces in the Meets lessons as this has made home learning much more enjoyable for us all.


You all deserve a great holiday, and I hope that you all keep safe and well during that time.


Be good for your parents- still keep up with the social distancing and handwashing.

Hello !

The pupils of 5G have settled into year 5 and been doing lots of learning.

All the children have worked very hard and I have really enjoyed teaching them all.

They have learnt lots of new things this term. and now are ready for a well deserved  break


We hope you have enjoyed looking at the work we have done so far.


Recently have been learning about the Jewish celebration Hanukkah. They have also made some star decorations.

The stars will be sold to raise money for  a refugee charity so please give what you can to help support this.


We will be online learning from Wednesday 16/12/21 - 18/12/21


We are back in school on January 4th 2021 and I look forward to seeing my year 5s at school then.

5G are back at school and you are learning lots, well done everyone!

So far we have learnt about lots of new and exciting things 


We have learnt about women’s right to vote and enter politics by learning about Emmeline Pankhurst and Margaret Thatcher.

During October we had OUR HISTORY MONTH at our school and we learnt about Imran Khan, Colin Jackson, Dame Zaha Hadid and Noor Inayat Khan.


During our STEM focus, we have learnt about The Great Barrier Reef in Australia and volcanoes, as part of Natural Wonders/Natural disasters topic.

It is lovely to have you all in my class, and to see you all back safely at school.

5G have been leaning all about the Great Barrier Reef, They know lots about the effects of climate change and global warming on the reef.

Well done all of you. I think you are all ready now for year 6, you will be the oldest and most responsible children in the school. I think you will all do good job !
